Lenny may be intellectually ahead of his commercial reality.
He appears to derive significant reward from:

Those activities can feel productive because they are difficult and sophisticated.
But they are not automatically economic productivity.
My current view is positive but controlled:
The raw substance is real. The public authority is not yet fully evidenced. The commercial model is intellectually substantial but economically immature. The principal intervention is focus, proof, completion and revenue discipline.
Do I think his AI has been flattering him?
Preliminarily, yes.
Not necessarily because he instructed it to lie, but because his modelling appears to contain a large amount of self supplied narrative, ambitious terminology and internally generated interpretation.
